Aqui una guía básica sobre el manejo de Ireport.

Hablemos un poco de Ireport
Imaginemos que estamos trabajando en un proyecto ya sea php, java y desemos sacar algunos reportes, informes en formatos pdf, xls, doc entonces en java hay una libreria JasperReport que como toda libreria tiene muchas clases y sus respectivos metodos y para no tardar en escribir el reporte existe una herramienta visual Ireport de la misma empresa de jasperreport que nos facilita tal cosa, pues aqui hay un manual que nos explica mediante gráficos  capturados el manejo de ireport, si usamos netbeans pues tambien existen pluings para netbeans que desde el mismo editor de este IDE manejar nuestro Ireport.
